Outfit : Cosplay?

 

I went to KL yesterday with two friends & our intention was to buy something from I-Sock store.  Well aside to buy some books for our 'A Survey of British and American Literature'.  I like how it sounds u know.  Haha.  I waited for nam-dongsaeng and a friend of his for 2 hours!  So I let my friends go first and I waited & we headed straight to TS & bought himself a pair of new skateboard shoes~  Cool.  But the salesgirl gave him the displayed shoe T.T poor my nam-dongsaeng, he's going to change it later.  How could that girl.  Ok, so we searched for the shops.  There are many outlets & at first I thought they close the girls' shop but then they get it moved to the members only section.  Yea so we got to go in the members section :D.  My friends were intrigued!  I know.  Even the one who wants to cosplay as gumi almost had a second thought to change her character!  And both of them had eyes on this particular design but it costs like rm2xx something.  I never thought of getting an outfit of more than Rm100 but pfftt.  Even a skirt costs you Rm1xx!  Oh my.

Then I have this dress hung above me.  I like it & no one else.  It was like laced all over it.  I cant find photos of any dress that looks like it.  I asked salesgirl for the price.  It was RM3xx.  Oh why?  Everything I touched were kinda like that price.  Uhh.  So the salesgirl decided on giving me ideas of mix and match stuffs.  So yeah after a while we were in a Wa Lolita corner.  So I bought this.  2-piece dress.  Its nothing like what I pictured but this will do eh.  It's black tho.  Haha.  I'll put some ruffled skirt petticoat.  Boots.  No boots yet .

Alternative Lifestyle : Ichi!

A style that really makes me head over heels are the Japanese street style or when I first encountered the term Harajuku.  Their casual wear are too amazed me.  Are they born fashionista?  All of them!  This entry is not easy for me!  I dont how or where to start because this is so Sugoiiii!  Really!  There are so much to say so I think I'll separate them bit by bit into different posts and what comes into mind first.  The title Ichi means one or first(?) as in the first entry on alternative lifestyle.  Guhh Japanese are so very fine!  They know how to make a mess but still looking as kawaii ever! 

Harajuku is a name of a place somewhere in Japan which is so famous especially to those adore Japan very much like me.  Manga & anime otaku are too!  I fell in love with Japan because of its fashion sense and it never fail to impress me.  So in other word, it wasnt the manga.  I read manga but am not a hardcore fan.  :S  I tried to be one, a real otaku but I just cant, so Im better off like this.  The first time I come to love this was back when I was in early secondary school (high school).  Harajuku style is originated among teens on the streets.

So, I fancy Decora girl the most when I first encountered this Japan stuff.  In my own term which may not precise, Decora girls are girls that wear cute, adorable, kawaii stuffs all over their bodies.  Ya! All over! From head to toe.  Their look reminds us of a little girl.  But theyre more cuter than little girls sorry.  Decora girls wear layers and layers!  Skirts, tutu, sweaters, Mostly pink, lots of acc on hair and bodies.  Asian look are the best with this style.  Yaa because they came up with this first.  Ugh Im kinda disappointed with my own explanation.  :(

For me, this style is so adorable!  A total love for it!  It is never too much.  Well wear it in a simpler way is kawaii enough.  But most of people around me, my family, friends hate this style :( .  Ya, some said this is nut.  Ah it hurts~ hahah.

Mori.  Have you heard about Mori before?  I discovered the word like two days ago! So sad that I just knew about this but so fortunate now that I know about this.  Like the terms Harajuku and its subs like Lolita, Decora, Cosplay and lots more  (I actually study the terms, for real really!), I fall in love again! <3<3 Mori is a Japanese word that means forest.  It started when a girl posted her picture of her outfit in a Japanese's social networking, Mixi and her outfit was described as looking like she belongs to the forest. The image of one could think how the girls in forest wear daily.  Loose clothes, love layering clothes, earth tone colour clothes, vintage blouses, anything that you could picture living in the forest.  Forest like where Snow White lives hehe.  If you love fairy tales you are said to be a Mori too and here are the checklist to see if you are one.  For me, some of the listings in the list are a little nonsense hehe because emm you see it for yourself but it is interesting though.  But I still answer 'yes' for most of it (O.o).  So around the year 2007 & 2008 a new fashion line was found and that is Mori style.  Since then, Mori girls are mentioned.  Of course the Japanese girls are the one who really rock this style!  Really! They never fail in fashion & for that, why I love them to pieces, the Japan's street fashion.  Also, the style has evolved to Gyaru Mori, Dark Mori and more..this is if not mistaken.  The Gyaru means gal/girl but so far when I search something that has to do with that term, the girls are seemed to wear sexy outtfits like shorter skirts or flaunting more skin..yeah,  Correct me!  Because I am so in love with this style, I started to look for blogs, photos that are related to this Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ so happy!  I guess the first blog I found was this and then, led me to various more blogs and stuffs.  One is this game, well a kind of.  I made myself an account and I think I love it.  I even installed some gadgets on the sidebar of this blog.  The photos above of this writing is from someone's polyvore & I like it so I share it here as I saw the 'Share this' button so I clicked on it.  So the price lists of the stuff are included.  Waaaa.  Yaa and want to know who are the most potential mori girl or they are the mori girls, click here.  Super modest and cute and MORI!  I love everything about this term.

p/s:  I watched Dylan's Surprise Unboxing in the Youtube and wow (T__T),  omma baked Puding Roti yesterday & it was superb.  Currently designing or fixing the bee logo.
