Music:Youtube Singers

I've been listening to Abbey Glover, she plays ukulele and creates originals like a piece of cake!  She has this angelic kind of taste well I'm not sure what words to best describe, not angelic angelic but soothing and dreamy.  I found her just recently and the first I listened from her was her original called 'I Wish You Liked Girls' and when it's written there that it's original, I was amused so I began listening some of her covers and her other originals and got myself notified by her latest videos and all.  I personally love her originals, her lyrics and her performance, they are just perfect.

And then she made a cover by Cavetown called Lemon Boy, I never heard this name and I thought it was a band name but it turns out that he is a Youtuber singer that just released an album called Lemon Boy and he's just a boy, if not mistaken but at least I'm way older than him haha.  So with that, I learn his songs, his vlogs and website.

Abbey Glover covers Lemon Boy by Cavetown

Lemon Boy Official Music Video by Cavetown

He makes nice songs, the lyrics they are just something and the videos and his vlogs and recently he bought a very cute cat!  Such a loving boy.  I've listened to his tracks but not the entire album yet, and I love Lemon Boy and Big Bowl in the Sky so far.

From Cavetown, I learned about another singer, Chloe Moriondo, really cool and pretty girl.  She makes covers and makes original songs too.  Love her make up and hairstyles especially in this video.

Then I listened to her cover of Best Friend by Rex Orange County and I love it!  In fact I've been looking for the albums but still haven't found.

Which then of course led me to these

Rex Orange County has albums and one of it is called Apricot Princess which I find so cute and makes me want to buy the album so much!

I guess I love ukulele rendition so much and heartfelt and cute lyrics!

Verse Novel: Crush (pg. 1)

The room is at the back
Alfred! I call. Alfred, Alfred, Alfred!
He rushes in
Find me standing in front of the windows
A paper scrap lies in my grip
A pencil on the floor.
Alfred, Alfred!

What name would you call me?
He would shrug except he is keen
Of my question
A smile on my face
his eyebrows raised.

I can’t believe I forget to write you my name!
He waits and waits
and slowly I lift the paper scrap
and Alfred says
Hurry!

Still holding the paper scrap
I see his eyes focusing
as he mouths the written words.

Ebra Way!
He says
Running his fingers in his hair
and becomes bashful

My lips curl
Hey, I’ll see you later
and he disappears while
I go down to eat cookies.

and I’ll make him reappear
whenever I want
because no one can see him.

Verse Novel: Timothy

I sat on the stair chairs
or whatever they are called
I was one of the judges
the finishing judges
sat along side with the timekeepers

I sat on the stair chairs
when then I learned it is
called the stadium benches
but without the stadium
just benches

I sat on the stadium benches
the second top bench
even after the race finished
and the field was crowded
with tug-of-war

I sat on the stadium benches
when the marching was in
screamed my lungs out
because they deserved it
they deserved my attention

I sat comfortably when the
music started and they
started capering and chanting
but not the spectators and
I complained that they are boring

I sat comfortably when the
next group was out performing
and something prodded me at
the back of my head and I turned
to see some boys and him

Birthday: Pansy Project

I'm not sure if this friend of mine ever noticed that I saved her name as Pansy in my phone and I always think if she ever had an English name, Pansy would suit her the best.  At first it just came up to me and I've been using it ever since and as time goes by I can see how she is so resembles to this Pansy name, be it the name itself, the meaning, the flowers and if she is a color, I would see yellow.
So for her birthday last year, I want to make something special even though she's not a fan of poetry and fancy my writing especially poetry but why not hahha, but I bought her physical present as well so and I feel she does not like it well I don't like what I bought but I ran out of time at that time :(.

I planned on making a small chapbook consists of poems about her and our friendship without telling what they are; the symbols, imagery and stuffs well I figure she'll notice it herself, she's a smart girl.  But then I ran out of time and I can't come up with at least ten poems.

That night before her birthday, I sent her screenshots of the poems and I said something about we discuss on this later since I need to wake up early tomorrow (I'm such a killjoy that night) but I really was needed the sleep and I probably didn't sleep if we continue to chat.  But too bad, since then she never talked about the poems I sent.  (secretly I'm afraid to bring that up although I really want to know what she thinks of them and how they are meant for her).  Pansy Project is a name I came up with when planning on making the chapbook, since it is a project but I guess I needed a longer time and motivation.  Isn't it cool? To have other people make a secret project for you and named it after you?  Guhh

But I guess I am not what describe myself in these.

Gave her two birthday haiku!
the only things I posted publicly.

The poems for her about her and us:

urghh there are even the green lines
