One evening, while we were vidcalling, Kapana suggested us to watch a movie and I looked up for it and didn't there's a movie on that. I've heard about a guy who created pads for his wife and the villagers think he's gone mad and that his wife eventually left him. That's all.
Upon learning Akshay Kumar is the lead character, I needed to watch this. Watching the trailer was exciting enough.
So we watched, and we learned that there's more to it (of course).
This movie is based on the true story but it's not an actual biography; just like I said, it's based on. They don't use the actual name and I believe it's georaphically different too.
This is a total eye opening, how a large number of woman in India alone (at that time) don't use sanitary pads. How can we knw if we never witnessed such movies rite.
They celebrate the coming of age of a girl's first menstruation but the men, they never talked to and talk about this with their females; be it wives, sisters etc. It works both ways..the males aren't bothered to deal and educate themselves (and also ignorantly disgustingly disturbed by the topic) and to those women who never talked about this to their males; husbands, sons, and brothers. A very frustrated moments for me. Fortunately we live in a community where it's not a total taboo to talk about this. I can casually say to a new, male colleague that I'm on my period (got asked whether I've performed solat or not so he can take over while I take a break).
Males however still are shy to buy pads from the store but we can understand, I don't mind that as long as they don't think that's a wrongful deed or smthing. I'd like to think that they're probably think that the store would think it's them that be needing the pads.
hahah. brains r crazy 🤣
Padman
Synopsis:Upon realizing the extent to which women are affected by their menses, a man sets out to create a sanitary pad machine and to provide inexpensive sanitary pads to the women of rural India.
Me and sister openly shipping these two. The lady is a fictional character but it plays a big role. She's his first customer. The look on his face when he received "it works as it should.." feedback from her.
The name itself is something that caught me and also the fact that Remy Ishak is in it. My dad kinda a fan of him but never really watches any of his movies. I don't remember watching the trailer the first time but I guess I got attracted to it since it's a fighting movie, an action genre movie (I fancy comedy action most, so yay). I wished to watch it in the cinema with family members oh ya this movie kinda released during my dad's birthday so yah but it got dragged on with business cough and other excuses.
My colleague told me about her sister (if not mistaken) said she dislikes this movie since there's no romance element. Which at first kind of a cringe because people actually look up for that, squint hard what? Then don't watch it girl! Don't you see the poster?? It's the main two guys, face to face and some action is going on duhh.
It's a fast pace movie which is good. I think it is well written, the script is too. No grays. The messages, the comedy elements (it's subtle (it's not) but I had a good laugh), the cinematography, the characters development and I got to tell that I'm impressed with Zul Ariffin's acting, I know him but the truth is I don't really watch him in other movies. The latest was when he was in the Hantu Kak Limah something, and he plays an Ustaz and in which it's a comedy movie so I don't really think I can judge their acting there (hahha who am I to judge,, eheh a moviegoer?). I like his casualty in the term of speaking unlike the other *cough (not Remy , the other one) especially the part when he insisted on giving the money and also the scene where the two; Adam and Johan are in the field, telling about his family background. It's marvelous and it's real.
Bob: ...aku cari kau sampai lubang cacing!
Adam: HAHA kau dengar tu? Kau mana muat, lubang hidung pun tak muat!
The scene in the toilet is the start of their friendship; I guess, I mean Adam makes an attempt to help many times even though his presence is not welcomed by anyone excluding the baby brother; Reza. Reza sees Adam beyond his mistakes and sins. He simply asks Adam to accompany him to the mosque and Adam again gets a sign. Before that we can see Adam sacrifices himself, telling others that he is the one who breaks the wind when he realizes that Johan poops his pants. This scene is heartfelt and funny and wow that is a big sacrifice.
They por
Adam
The connection and transition from one scene to another is nice! The one when Hafiz said "...basically he has no hope..." and then it spans out to a scene, a flashback where Adam was a little boy in a hospital where his mom is bedridden and a doctor just said that she had no chance of surviving and a few more.
"Kalau kau tak kuat, kau kena pandai,
Kalau kau tak pandai, kena kuatlah"
- Adam
Surah AzZumar. Ayat 053.
Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): Wahai hamba-hambaKu yang telah melampaui batas terhadap diri mereka sendiri (dengan perbuatan-perbuatan maksiat), janganlah kamu berputus asa dari rahmat Allah, kerana sesungguhnya Allah mengampunkan segala dosa; sesungguhnya Dialah jua Yang Maha Pengampun, lagi Maha Mengasihani.
The film portrays good
Reza trusting Adam
Johan too slowly after that. Johan is willing due to his siblings, to make it less burdeb
I kinda upset when they made Lea, a government nurse making an attempt to steal some jars of medicine for their younger brother. Also I don't think her character is necessary
Rite after finished watching the movie I was about to write away my thoughts but then I had to pee and then I had to take a bath. Lots of things went on my mind. Bro offered to watch this last night but it was past midnight so ya. Then today he said he had watched it and I kinda pissed like what can't you wait?
It started of quite slow with Eddie and his love life with Annie (I was, is this the Marilyn Monroe actress and also reminds me of Potts, the hairstyle and suit). Also, I'm not a fan when there's a romance in action movies. I was even texting my friend when this movie was playing.
I like when Eddie thinks that he Venom should have let Annie come along for the battle. In normal movies, the main/heroes always ask the others to stay put and to stay safe by being far away from them. I like how Eddie actually wants her to join or something and also I love the fact that Annie said she can fight ugly and the fact that she does not require a lot of explanation and understands right away of what's going on with him. She only freaked out once. That scene is my most favorite scene
hahaha, when he says he's inside of me. *insert pervert face* his voice of his, the about-to-cry voice is cute too and his British is showing.
and that part when Annie is trying to talk to Venom and Dan (her doctor boyfriend) is super confused.
The entire movie he was looking like a shit just like what Mrs. Chen said haha he does! I was like can you change the sweater and get a shower or wipe the sticky sweat off of your face? but he's cute being that vulnerable so I forgive him for now, HAHA. Tom is a petite guy and I know it! I always love him but I did not that eager to watch him and I think the only time I've seen him was in Inception (I think, I might seen him elsewhere) and I decided I want to love him. All this time I thought he was this huge tall guy all beefed up and all but in this one I saw him like a cute guy and his character Eddie Brock I guess is supposed to be this less tough guy and all and then somewhere it came to me, somewhere in my head that he is a small guy (I mean to be compared with other celebs and western guys) I think I've seen him with other actors and then that was when I knew oh he's not like other like all the Chris, and then I googled his height and I was pleased that I was right! (Ape ak merepek ni)
This movie is funny when I initially thought it was not supposed to be funny. This movie is actually super cute and this thing, parasite (Venow super pissed when being called that) can actually talk and he communicates and slowly making friends with his host. At first he threatens Eddie. Towards the end he comes to like Eddie and also our planet Earth. It has this cute friendship going on and it's an alien host thingy kind of story. My first impression when I saw the trailer a lot long time ago, I never knw about Venom before, not in comics, or animations before, like zero knowledge about this guy. But I never it was a alien thing I I did wonder what's up with him, is he a villain or something and it eats people.
Okay, that is a lot on fangirling on Eddie/Tom and Venom.
I think Eddie is strong vessel/host for Venom cause he's been holding in his fear and anger. Kinda like he can withstand his anger so he's strong. For example he wants to be mad at his neighbour (or he's basically just scared but I don't blame him for that, sometimes we are brave and sometimes we just don't want to risk shit but most of it I guess we're thinking is this even worth, don't at the end I'll hurt myself). I hate that the bad guy is a strong host too.
"Apparently I have a parasite"
no he's not a coward (we're act the same if we were put in that situation)
This scene is nice too like they're one already, he allows it
"do you know this is dead??" not dialogue for this frame
Like a little boy awww
No control of his body
He's been doing this pose whenever he's mad LOL
This is when we know Eddie has grown attached to Venom, he reaches out
But really his acting is superb, he was really controlled by something and it's not easy task right
Just finished watching this movie. It all started when I asked Mumu what she was doing and she said movie and drama marathon and then the mentioning of this movie. I was out looking for movies anyway so it was an instant decision to watch and I've seen the trailer (I guess was it heard somewhere).
I almost ugly cried towards the ending. The intro and the mid were hilarious especially the part where the two families meet to discuss on their marriage. Nickhun was here and wow he looks even cuter here and he can act, he seems natural and I envied the couple, why they have to be so beautiful and perfect. Love the Japanese talking. They sound natural to my non Japanese tongue tho. I envied Nickhun tho, gah. It was and funny when Mumu asked whether I know the movie and at first I was clueless but then I remembered one with kpop guy in it and she said woaa no wonder he looks so familiar (both of us forgot his name but we knw he's one of 2PM HAHAH)
I think the movie is a bit misleading with the title, but then it shows how lame is he, the brother. I was hoping that at the end they might be showing some scenes where he is actually a good big brother. All this while he's indeed the lame one, the bad one, the lazy one, the black sheep I guess and she is on the other hand is super opposite and mostly takes care of pretty much everything.
"I don't hate her, I just hate myself when I'm with her"
I also thought this movie would be about more on the brother's protest on the boyfriends of his sister, like not a straight away an easy up until marriage to this Moji guy.
I love this movie anyway. Sweet relationship and rivalry between siblings. How about times that to 4 but minus the sweet. But I guess my own is similar to these duo. Fights all the way.
I super love this movie, it's a Netflix movie, from some feminist shit group or something. Role reversal theme movie. I am not an extremist or feminist but I do love to read and study around their stuffs, their fights, the world fights and stuff, since these kind of things come to me so naturally and I find it so easy to learn and to understand what's happening around me but at the same it gives that depression vibe to it, when you know too much of it and all you want to do is stop everything immediately and sit at one corner and reflect things. You know that feeling? It's burdensome since I'm a Muslim and I have big devotion and everything I do is always to be based on Islam and by that I mean I am not a fan of my own race. I do live as one but I don't get it when it comes to certain aspects of it, sometimes I wonder why I feel this way, it's good to know that you belong to something (in my case, I belong to that race) but it's always enough for me to know that I belong with the rest of the Muslims. We're the same in the eyes of God. So why obsessed much with your race when you don't even perform your wajib prayers. Such a shame.
So this movie, I found it when I was looking for some movies to watch and I can't really remember what I wrote in the search button but I guess it was on some what if men are women and women are men, and similar things. Then I saw this thumbnail, and the guy is attractive so I was attracted and so I watched the trailer, and also because the title is eye catching, we usually hear girls say it, "I'm not like that, I'm not easy," To me it was super explicit, nudity and also it is French. I watched the one with English dubbed and thank god it was nicely dubbed and perfect.
The actors are great, I love the casting and also they have made a similar themed movie but it was a short film! At first I thought it was the same movie but the shorter one was one small fraction of it! Same actors (except for the main stars).
The short film is called the Opressed Majority
I know such movie is trying to reach more people to better understand and to educate the rest of this but I want to see it as it is, the way I find this pleasant to watch, the plotline is super smooth, the way it ends, although I don't want it to end like that but the ending is a clever one, it's a good writing, I'd love to see more of these and mainly by them. I love their work. The main stars are gorgeous, I love the way the main girl acts in PU or AU, I can imagine that happen. After the movie ended, I thought to myself, if it ever, it this possible? Maybe we turn out like this because Prophet Adam was the first human on the Earth and he's a man and he's a male species and later came Eve. I guess that's why we are living in the men's world they say. Although there are people who are okay with this gender dominance over the other, and how there are males who are not agree with this, there are alpha, beta, omega males right, so we are different but the question is why is that this party or group of people is on the top. Maybe in case of hyenas, females are dominant, and the males are even lower than babies in their hierarchy but I guess this can happen since the females also have penis, ya I know theyre pseudos but I think it'd work like that if human females too have that. But who knows right. The typical ladies are everywhere, they want men to hold them, to pamper them, to call them princess and beautiful, give them this and that, taller then them, and the list goes on, we can't really complain since there are people like this, born that way. But I just think that we should not be ignorant and do realize that there are girls who prefer pants, who prefers boxing, who prefers no lipsticks, who prefers skirt with sneakers, who prefers football tickers over flowers and etc, and also boys who prefer to stay at home, boys who prefer to be a follower, boys who prefer to cook and more. (don't get me wrong boys cant wear necklace and bracelets since Islam says that is specially for the ladies only)
Parallel Universe! Where the gender roles are reversed, we can have a taste on what it'd be like if this is the reality, girls running topless, wearing suits, no make up or hair being done, men wearing short shorts and more! It's super cute, I can't deny. There's a few scenes where the main girl was heading out from her house with a shorter boy in short shorts and bright shirt kissing so girlishly (in our life).
What I want is that people should not use this kind of phrase
"They want you to serve the VIPs since you are a young unmarried girl" or
"Once you got married the pupils will respect you"
"You will be free once you got married"
(these are real phrases being said to me)
OH COME ON!?!
We should instead encourage both boys and girls to learn how to cook, be in the kitchen, both should know how to work with hammers and nails, and etc.
I don't want equality I need justice,,
(I still need stronger people to lift heavy things you know and we are born like that, we are truthfully different in physical abilities and also I often get away with no need to go outside since I am not covered so my brothers instead had to go out and attend to whoever out there, so yeah)
and for people not to be IGNORAMUS
shit to these people saying things like I got no feelings and stop assuming
This is similar to the some movies I've watched some time ago, a short film titled A Man's World and also Ki & Ka
So, I just finished watching Sierra Burgess is a Loser movie! I watched last night but the line got interrupted so I went to bed, it was 3 am anyway!! I had to sleep! I enjoyed everything about this movie, typically. My sister suggested this and I didn't know about this movie before but I did watched a video about this guy Noah Centineo on some YouTube channel about him answering fans' questions while playing with puppies and he was so cute, adorable and hot at the same time and he has very sexy voice.
I love this movie, it shows typical relationship between two people and that is realistic like it happens everyday, The texting parts, the different phases of getting together or dating and stuffs, even I (in Jenna's voice) got smitten all over. I squealed and fangirling, hard but at them not picturing myself in it lah.
At first you're going to see and typically hate this Veronica character, she's a typical mean girl at school. She's popular, super pretty and mean, all the package but her character changes towards the end and she's like the hero but reading other comments about she deserves Jamey more than Sierra because of what she had done to her (it is mean but I guess she had been collecting this hatred Veronica had been giving) she started this at first, you know giving away random people's number and she didnt even like Jamey because of whom he hang out with (and also did I miss something because the synopsis says that Sierra has crush on this guy? because the way I see it, she never met this guy before and she likes him after they started to text).
I especially love it how Sierra and Veronica's relationship turn into a better one. They found a friend in each other and also Veronica becomes a better person and I think this is because she actually has a friend, and that is Sierra. What Sierra did to her was mean but that's life I guess (Ya,,I'm biased for this ship and this is regarding the unpopular opinions about not wanting her to get the happy ending kemonnn it's the writer's story and it's up to them *read in Jenna's voice ok!) she also had things rough and she panicked I guess so she acted the way she did.. she's upset and got things misunderstood. For this I like this friends, and the ending, trio friends and I awed! *blush
and the poetic parts, I'd imagine if this is ever adapted from novel, it would be more cheesy and smitten and I think I'd know how the writing would be and it'd be great. Love the fact that she is the daughter of a successful and beautiful parents, I like the things she said when she was upset the day she went back crying and she poured her heart out and that was heartfelt; about how to top them, they're successful and beautiful and stuffs. And that brings to the song she made and sang to her dad when she said she wanted to talk, she gave the song to Veronica which is cute and sweet and what Veronica did after sweeter was even sweeter. I like how they always made references of poems and poets tho I know not much about them but Jamey is seen to be a poetic person too so they're belonged to each other. The way he describes the football games is poetic. The moment when Jamey met Sierra real life but without knowing her and the shook hands and they had a moment just like she said but I know Jamey too feels something.
The actors are great, they should do more movies together, I guess.
I like the ending tho it's expected but at first I still had my doubts.
First of all Im gonna share the link to the trailer:
It is a Hindi movie and I saw the trailer by accident on the television and I was just talking about this concept with a friend or two of mine and I said to my woa what a coincident and so of course I want to watch this. I saw the ad yesterday and I watched it today. The last Hindi movie I watched was Dangal which I love so so much! I tried to convince my family to watch it but I still need to find a good time to finally show them it. I tried showing to my students but they weren't interested and not going to give it at least a try at all, so I gave up on them. Pity them. While the latest new movie was the Justice League which I don't have much response to it just that I've learned so much about the ever existing Superman and Wonder Woman, geez and I can be so bad at it so forgive me. I love Ezra in his Flash suit and I don't know much about The Flash but I think Ezra is The Flash. He looks like he's being himself or rather a bit of himself in that movie.
Anyway,
It was a 2016 movie so I was late and I haven't checked for the reviews or the issues that follow this movie. I believe that this movie will cause some interesting responses from many people or activists idk.
The movie has wonderful script and I don't know much about the casts but they're okay, I like the pairing, the mom and the dad; the typical successful working man with a son. The background stories of the couple and how they come about being who they are now. The beginning (not the very beginning, maybe the part in the plane) of the movie and the ending (not the very ending, the plane scenes) scenes have got to be my favorite <insert noun here> it has that something that makes me say this is a well plotted story, a something that is different from others, it'd make a good poem if it is a poem (if you know how I like my poem), the pattern would be the one that catch me instantly, something unexpected I guess... Not planning to exaggerate but this is what I feel, and I might be comparing it with the not so many movies I've watched out there.
But English Literature classes got me this way and I LOVE it.
okay, the one of the issues in this movie would be the gender equality (here's the thing about me, I am not a feminist (I might be missing out what they fight for but I know the gist) but I want justice and not equality and also I want society not to judge me based on my gender. That I have the expectations that I have to meet just because I am what I was born as.
Like "u x leh msk ka?" "eh u pmpuan so ape u msk the best?" "u pmpuan misti taw ni"

*Me in shower thinking: Here ahh, I may not know what the dishes' name you mentioned and that I should have cooked them ,,i may not know BUT the thing is I cook, I go to kitchen and I help and I cook and that is okay for me. it might be not as good as other girls or that boys shouldnt be better than me.... just if anything u shud be concerned is that if grown adults out there who knows no shit about cooking something. THAT is the issue,, not me who seems cant cook when I shudnt be bcuz im a girl.
This movie points out the issues and also the voices, the other voices that might or already expected from the society, from many kinds of people, here and there and also I think they are brave to being this out and even said "Indian's tradition".
So this man wants to be like his mom in which is a housewife and he portrays that as an artist. Housewife is an artist and I feel bad for not ever think it that way, and I have to agree, it's a huge deal (it's not that I'm saying that housewife is nothing nooooo), we can see how Kabir (the man in the movie) got reeled up when Kia (the girl in the movie) said "well, ur dad moves forward and it is important so your mom can sit and do nothing" and yeah that is when viewed from Kabir's eyes is so offensive. The thing about housewives, homemakers,, society: men and women, old and young,, we belittle them since ever. Girls themselves putting down other girls who are a stay at home mom or housewives.
And for me Kabir doesnt do this to proof a point or something, he just has dreams and it happens that he doesnt like office hassles or taking over his dad's company and stuffs, (he's a mama's boy) and his dad hate the idea and only after like 3 or 4 years he finally visited his daughter in law. < I love this scene XD.
Kia also said she isn't try to proof anything by becoming a successful businesswoman; just that I do what I can do best, she said (different from the actual dialogue but the point is the same)

This is the letter by
Jaya Badhuri Bachan
(ya she plays herself in the movie) to Kia:
I forgot what I need to say, I thought there's more but got distracted by the new track I just found "it's hard out here for a bitch" and the editing of the font of the script excerpt. and also I really want to know how they would handle children (ive seen real life tho), tho Kia doesnt want children.
And through Kia we can see women's emotional break downs, and ya hate to break it but ya that's women, Kia is seen to be outcasting his husband and Kabir was seen sad but he got through and when Kabir has the attention she was jealous. GENERALLY: we are too insecure, we judge too quick,, BUT the levels of them,,they differ from one woman to another woman and that what makes me special (hehe nah, I probably have OCD and anxiety and no this is not a sex/gender probs)
and also I have no problems if guys want to be house husbands or stay at home dads, this is not even a new thing, some already done it and guhhh do what you want as long that makes you happy and it's not salah in syariah.
Kia is different from many women out there just like the way the letter says and at the same time she too portrays the emotional bringing of a woman. As for Kabir, he is too a different man, in fact in my eyes his kind is so rare out there (at least in my place, the country im in). But together they make a good team and a CUTE couple. I ship this kind of relationships.
and also I still want men to do the fish catching in the swamp XD, the other day we had this camp for 3 days 2 nights and they asked us to jump in the swamp to catch haruan,, hahaha I guess I have no knowledge of catching this venomish fish and I feel geli2 hahahah so I went up just in time when they asked the boys to come down and do the work, I guess Im too shy to show myself too erghhhh,, I can catch some fish if I want to duhhh (hahhha) and since we had so many tenaga kerja so why not let them do it, they wanted and readily to do it.
It's a KBS drama special, which is a one shot and I found this randomly while browsing through the sites looking for any good movies. And I love this so much, it was something new to me, the good plot story, gorgeous castings, and HILARIOUS. It is something worth watching, I had a good laugh. I don't know the actors tho, and no women involved in this film/drama or whatever it is called, got two KBS guys that I know, the comedian and the announcer, I guess.
It is about a guy who transferred school and tries so hard and does what it takes to not to get back to his former school job as a lackey for a school bully. He wants to change his life and makes friends finally.

I've downloaded this today and I finished this tonight. I accidentally found this movie while searching for Elle Fanning's list of movies right after I saw her role in 3 Generations which I believed was once called 'About Ray' or something on her playing trans male character and in which she looks so good as a boy and ya she acts so well, I always love her acting.
This movie caught me first, by the name, 'Ginger and Rosa' which is cute and you know it right away it is about friends and stuff and when I read the synopsis, wow, with the theme of friendship (which I love) and 'when one seduces the other's father'. Interesting, was my first impression and then woa this is sick but I have to watch this! This is a new conflict to me, like you two are bestfriends since the day you were born and I think they might be born on the same day since their mothers are seen in their hospital beds, in labour side by side and holding each other' hands. Even their mothers are best of friends. And then we learn that the girls were friends since then, seen on swings holding each other hands.
Then we see them growing up to be beautiful young girls and have this adorable bond, they do things together and really are best friends. However Rosa is always the bad influence, she is seen to smoke around and teaches Ginger to smoke too, she goes around with any guys whenever she feels like, Ginger never said nothing but we know she dislikes the things Rosa does.
One common thing they shared was their feelings towards their mothers, both despises their mothers, and Ginger seems to feel like her mother is always unhappy just because of her very existence, and also they have a wrecking marriages. Rosa's dad left her when she was a little girl (if not mistaken, haha I guess I didn't pay enough attention to her)
they wear the same outfit too
also every scene where Elle is in, that frame is always good enough for a model photo shoot, she's flawless every second, hahha.
Elle Fanning dyed her hair red for this role and claimed that this was her first time doing so, "I always been just a blonde," she added. This story set in the year of 60s where Ginger constantly fear that the world is going to end since the nuclear was making it's thingy, uhh I'm not good explaining historical facts :( and so she became an activist at such young age, she made Rosa to go to meetings with her but we can see that Rosa was quite uninterested.
There was one night after their wild scenes; kissing boys, smoking and stuff and when they reached home it was already really late in the morning, so Roland sent Rosa with his car, we can see that Rosa was looking at the reflection (was it directly?) on Roland and they shared a smile.
I guess it all started there or might be a little longer before the movie begins. Rosa is the one who decides to write him a letter one day when she feels that Roland is very similar to her and Rosa even told Ginger that she writes to him.
Whatever Rosa does, and Ginger knows it all, she somehow does not flipped out, she remains silent or keeps herself busy when she hears some intimate noises made by Roland and Rosa in the boat that one night, Ginger trembles and she continues to read poem (can't remember which) and then she covers her face with her pillows instead going for a turmoil towards the couple.
Quotes:
Ginger:
I loved you Rosa.
Don't you see?
But we are different,
you dream of everlasting love.
Not me.
Because what really matters is to live.
And if we do,
there will be nothing to forgive.
But I'll forgive you anyway.
Idk where to
start, wut I wrote bfore got
deleted n im pissed.
All I knw, I clapped my
hands at the ending credit, I love this
movie & I fell in love with this character Newt
Scamander.
Characters
His character is
something I never imagined, all I knew about him was that he is the author one
of the ‘textbooks' in Hogwarts entitled
fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and this
movie is nothing like the book (of
course!) The book is a reference book for the magic people &
stuff. So, when I think
about author of textbooks especially, I think of a mad hair old kind of a guy
but I was wrong, Newt was young andalready
written the book which at the end of the movie he's
waiting for it to be printed and published.
Newt Scamander is adorable,
I bet he was the nerdy back in
Hogwarts & where people
think he's a freak & he's to be left alone all by himself in his own world.
This character is adorable (Ive said it
but I say it again XD), he reminds me of HTTYD where he is the person who wants
to educate his people about the creatures and that they're not harmful and they
as much love too. He's caring, shy, reserved, sweet & a crybaby (really).
The way he says "Mommy's here" to the beasts, the way he
understand the very nature of the creatures, he is like their best friend, I
like how he said to Jacob "because I like you, and you are my friend and
that is why I keep you" (not actual line ya). But we can tell that
Newt is the person who has very little
friends and makes you want to hug him) he even said to Jacob "you are so
likeable, well I always annoy people" sad huh.
I notice that
from JK's main heroes they would be the broken or weak or soft kinda
guy (ofcourse but I
meant theyre always the
freak..hmm or this thing is a norm in making books eh??? Ignore me)..

involved with Newt somewhere in the bank. He is a muggle and was pursuing
his dream as a baker to own his own bakery. His character is a kind guy,
funny (the way he shrieks everytime he feels
uneasy LOL). He is an interesting character and one that keeps the hall
filled with laughter.
There are
characters that I didn’t knw they are
even in. I usually see them in other movies and I was excited that theyre involved
in another great movie from HP series. Which is amazing. (do more
of these)
The other
characters are the Goldstein sisters, a brunette & a blonde;
Tina & Queenie. They're fine.
Plot
To be honest I
wasn’t looking forward to watching this, I remember not being that excited the 1st time I saw
the trailer. Maybe it is because of it is another HP thingy but with no Harry
and the gang. But I was wrong and I
love this every seconds of it (well except when Tina got messed up).
I wasn’t sure
what this movie is about after watching the trailer but I somehow managed to
come up with a closer idea of it; I told my mom that this movie is about a guy
who wrote a book which hundred of years later (When actually this was set in
the year of 1926, so it's
like only 40ish years later) is
in the library of Hogwarts and that in this movie where (somehow) he
keeps his beasts and the
rising action is when some of them
escape and this story is basically about him trying to recollect
his beasts back. (close huh?) But it is more
than this.
In all, this
movie flows smoothly, it is something
new especially the beasts. JK introduces more
creatures that arent in the
series of HP movies (I might forget some)The
beasts are amazing and I always wondering how things work inside JK's head
(and many2 credits to
the team who turn that into life (animation) oh yea the
presentation is A+).
Just like Jacob's lines in the movie; "I am not dreaming, right?
Cause this cant b from my
brain" (I forgot the actual lines are but you get the point and this is to
the scene where he sees the beasts & basically all the magic stuff ofcourse)
The story goes
well, and I love that
the hero isn't the one who also portrayed as the main
romance subplot (idk how to word that bluergh)
but Jacob is! Queenie and Jacob
going to make a cute pair. I ship them.
The ending is
alright, wherethere's
many being resolved at the ending. How cuteNewt
is (he he he) but
I wish there's more (of Newt) in the future movies (maybe) I
would like to knw more about
Credence and his nature, the adorable beasts. How Newt
& Tina would develop their relationship. I wish it was a different
ending for Jacob but this is fine too.
It exceeds my
expectations, it is something that I'd like to watch again and own a copy (so
that I can replay Newt/Eddie's funny blinking eyes (which I find really2 attractive
and cute) and Newt's mating dancing HAHA. To see and study the beasts.
This movie makes me want to be there so so badly, to be petiing the beasts
or ride and fly with them and to own a wand. This excites the long-slept pottermore in me.
There are more
to write but I can't spend all my time here TT_TT
I personally like Newt, and the portrayal of his character by Eddie
Redmayne (but I dunno how Newt is in words) is just so nice. If Newt is
meant to be a shy, sweet and quiet guy then Eddie did it, especially his funny-
but-adorable-and-deep-blinking
he has, he looks so shy with that look, shy eyes, and deep blinking OMG (i wish
I can describe better) and then I decided to watch another movie with him in
it, and he,Eddie is indeed has that eyes I meant it's not made up just to suit
Newt's character. Eddie is like that himself.
